Summary:
The Office Administrative Assistant ensures proper workflow and office functionality.
This position will also support the Global Events Manager with administrative duties.
Administrative duties include answering phones, distributing mail, and organizing files both physical and digital.
This position requires the ability to work on multiple projects at one time as well as the ability to organize details and complete projects in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
A successful Office Administrative Assistant satisfactorily performs these general categories of duties.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Clerical/administrative support including but not limited to answering phones and distributing mail Assist in the preparation of reports as needed.
Plan, organize and implement corporate events in conjunction with Events Manager.
Monthly review of Amex receipts Place purchase requisitions and ensure payment of invoices.
Order office supplies as needed.
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
Act as the point of contact for internal and external event vendors and clients.

Education and/or
Experience:
High School Degree/GED Minimum 1 year or experience in an office setting Work experience as an Office Administrative Assistant or similar role Events planning experience preferred Proficiency in MS Office Suite Skills and Abilities:
Approachable with excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a team player while maintaining a high degree of customer service and confidentiality.
Ability to prioritize job tasks in order of changing priority and in a deadline driven, fast paced work environment.
High degree of integrity; able to handle confidential information with absolute discretion.
Strong initiative (drive, sense of urgency) and flexibility.
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Strong organizational, administrative skills and the ability to multitask.
Ability to meet deadlines and follow directions.
Excellent time management skills and a demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure.
