Administrator for several critical human resources functions and workforce management, including, benefits, leave and attendance tracking, payroll, employee engagement, employee records, labor relations, and health and safety.
A successful HR Generalist satisfactorily performs these general categories of duties.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:
Manages administratively and distributes company benefit plans and determines eligibility.
Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
Responsible for benefit invoice reconciliation and submittal to accounting department.
Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork:
medical, personal, disability and FMLA.
Responds to 401(k) inquiries relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts.
Key role with the open enrollment process.
Assists with new-hire orientations.
Ensures compliance with federal and state benefit administration requirements, including those outlined in the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
Provides internal support and partnership to resolve HR related employee issues that may arise.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Promotes HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace by coaching employees, supervisors, and managers.
Supports compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies.
May evaluate, select, and oversee vendors that provide supplemental HR processes and services.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
