Shifts/Pay Rate:
Monday - Friday w/ some OT (5am to 1:
30pm):

Responsibilities:
Answer and screen call for all maintenance personnel, take messages, contact maintenance personnel, and relay messages and pertinent information Update manager and supervisor with mechanics activities and job status Record information such as name, department, plant, location, and article to be repaired or service to be rendered Receive work orders and ask for mechanic delegation from manager or supervisor Receive demand maintenance calls from production and relay information to manager and/or supervisor for mechanic delegation Dispatch delegated mechanic based on work order or demand maintenance call Generate computerized record of mechanics activities and machine downtime and submit it to manager Dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to maintenance personnel Locate maintenance and sanitation personnel when required Research parts and get quotes from vendors Operate Proteus software to search, store, and order parts and equipment Coordinate with contractors regarding work orders, schedules, and discrepancies Update time and attendance of department employees for payroll Issue parts and tools from central stores and tool crib Requirements:
Read and write in English Basic math skills Knowledge of Windows and Excel software (Oracle is a plus) Work with minimal or not supervision.
