Gerdau is currently seeking Industrial Electricians for its Midlothian TX facility.
Responsibilities:
Primary job function is to service and repair the electrical equipment and controls within the mill to maintain maximum equipment availability. Such equipment includes, but is not limited to; AC and DC Motors and Drives, 110 VAC Control Circuits, Medium Voltage Switchgear, PLC and HMI. Advanced PLC programming, HMI programming, and computer networking skills may be needed for some positions.
Qualifications include:
HS Diploma or GED required (Associate degree or Certificate is a plus)
Minimum 3 years of Industrial Electrician experience (Must have worked in a manufacturing or industrial environment)
PLC and RSLogix - PLC Troubleshooting
Motor control center, crane troubleshooting
AC and DC Experience
70E certification is a plus
